Introduction
I wish I could break out of the grip of the Almighty God – the Husband of widows (Isiah 54:4-5) that sent me for the liberation of the widows in my generation?
I wished I could exchange my Call
I wished I could look away
I wished I could could change the Call
I wished I wished I wished!
But at this stage of my life
At this age of my life
At this point of my knowledge
Having walked with the God of widows and orphans for 21years of this Call?
Its too late to turn back from following this God of Widows & Orphans that have come to know over two decades!
The God of the fatherless that I have encountered from four years old – whom I have known as my father (because He filled the vacuum of father &mother for me when there was no stable shoulders I could lean upon)!
Missionary Widows’ In Diaspora
Each moment I switch my thought to think about my passion for widows in diaspora ( especially the African Widows), knowing the depth of God’s affection for them ( irrespective of the shortcomings of majority of them yet God’s affection remains intact)!
This is the reason behind the clarion Call for widows in diaspora:
– many widows remain in bondage because of certain tradition!
– some widows are going through self – imprisonment since they lost their spouses!
– some are already cut off from life realities for lack of Information
– some are self – imposed widows for reason
– some others have agreed to remain in silence ever since the spouses were taken away…,,etc
Arise Time
There are still unused greatness, hidden treasures, and potential virtues in some widows, nevertheless; where these category of widows are not liberated – the juice of God in their destinies may never radiates the light they ought to shine in the world!
Determination
Determination turned the lives of widows – Naomi & Ruth around till they became epitome of greatness among widows in their generation!
This is why we could read about them today!
A New Beginning
Mind you, widowhood is not the end of life!
You can have a new life if you’re willing to create a New Beginning!
