It’s amazing to note that despite the hundreds of people in this group only 3-4 people deemed it fit to say
Happy Father’s Day!
Why I’m not surprised is because:
Jesus Experience
a day came when Jesus rebuked his followers for certain error in terms of the demonstration of a negative value.
And the people became angry at such correction
Immediately thousands of them stopped following Jesus except the 12 apostles.
That is when it dawn on Jesus that only 12 people are his true followers!
Gideon Experience
It came to a time that Gideon was to war against another nation.
So he armed 33,000 soldiers who he believed were his faithful soldiers. And God told him – let me test their loyalty for you to see & know.
By the time God tested them the number dropped from 33,000 to 200!
Meaning only 200 soldiers were truly loyal
God Save Us
God will save leaders in this generation because many leaders thought they have loyal followers but when they have challenges – the so called followers will no where to be found!
Discipline
If you don’t value mentors God sends your way it’s because you lack discipline!
I have wished every mentor of mine this morning and many of my colleagues early in the morning even anyone of them began to wish me!
Life is all about the law of nature – and the law of nature is summarized as
What you Sow is what you Reap!
This is a choice issue and it has nothing to do with God. God cannot break His word (Gen 8:20-22)
Holiness without character is incomplete, because genuine character is superior to every other virtue!
