A certain General Overseer of a mega church with global membership lost his wife some years.
It was then it occured to him to make the first announcement for widows convergence in the church!
In the first meeting after the invitation, he was amazed to see thousands of widows in attendance. So he assumed the numbers to have included visitors & other women in the church, be he was tempted to ask if all the women in attendance were widows? And that if they were equally his church members?
The answers he got for both questions was Yes!.
Yes!.
Eventually, he was moved to postpone the meeting because of the shock in terms of the large crowd – over 5,000 widows in attendance – and they were bonafide members of his church!
Church Leaders Needs Widows:
The bible says:
“Their priests (spiritual leaders) fel by the sword ( arrows of error), and their widows made no lamentations (intercession)… “
Ps 78:64-65
God had to hid Prophet Elijah under the roof of Zarephat widow for 3years ( that’s a mystery)!

Does Church/Parachurch leaders need to lose their wives before realizing there are widows in their churches who requires church attention ( just as wives of church leaders get the attention of their churches)?
