Introduction
United Nations research on the number of widows around the world was put at 258 million!
And they went further to affirm that average of 2,600 women becomes widowed from September 2019!
That now leave you with the calculation of what the number should be by now ( even though we know that United Nations can’t capture the exact figure in totality, but at least they’ve tried their best on that)?
Ouestion – How Do You Stand Out As Widow?
1- Face Reality
You have to face the reality that the man is gone forever! No amount of tears & mourning can bring him back, as a matter of fact your continuous cry will not make him rest in peace!
Therefore, stop the tears in order to allow him RIP while you also rest your mind with peace!
2- Change Of Mentality
It’s common to observe that widows generally desire to appear as object of pity(especially African Widows)!
Nonetheless, widowhood is not designed by God to be a Pitiable Status but that of envy!
The more pitiable a widow looks the more helpers wants to avoid her before sorrowful 
outlook can be contagious in nature!

It’s unfortunate to see many widows look as if they are the same age with their mothers when stand together!
The bible says a certain widow was moved to cast off her widowhood garment because the garment ( which includes outward appearance & dressings and words – see Gen. 38)
My dear until you change your mentality you won’t also experience any change of personality!
You’re not the only one in such shoes – life must go on hence you too must decide to move on!
3- Superior Knowledge Acquisition
Knowledge is power!
A widow without required knowledge is a powerless widow!
Without information one is bound to die in devastation because of frustration!
I have said often that
” The difference between a winning widow and a struggling widow is Information/Revelation!”
Both information & revelation are products of knowledge!
And knowledge as it were doesn’t jump on people neither is knowledge cheap or Free – hence we all send our children to school to acquire knowledge so they could become better people in life!

What the above implies is:
You need to sacrifice somethings to our aquire certain things in life if not you’ll remain the way you are for life!
Examples:
– Some widows have inherited estates
– Some widows’ children pay them monthly
– Some widows are working & earning
– Some widows have one thing or another,etc
In other words Jesus meant to say – convert your pleasures ( ie. resources )for treasure ( rare knowledge)!
Nomatter what I’m saying here, yet it’s not for everyone widow because many widows already believe Everything Should Be Free just because they are widows; hence such widows ( especially African Widows) have remained at this same spot forever!
World’s Mentality
Because the world has given them the mentality of
– Poor Widows
– Begging Widows
– Useless Widows
– Suffering Widows
– Good For Nothing Widows,etc
But that is not the way God sees widows!
