As we resume tomorrow morning, we’ll taking three major subjects, such as:
Day 1-Understanding 8 Laws Of Widowhood ( Pt 1)
Day 2- Understanding 8 Laws Of Widowhood
( Pt.2)
Day 3- Widowhood Is A Ministry
Observation
Have observed that majority of widows are called of God ( especially those in Christianity)!
Unfortunately, many doesn’t know how to go about this CALL of God upon their lives and such ignorance & depravation has triggered many challenges in their lives and families!
Nevertheless, irrespective of one’s ignorance if the Call of God is not an excuse of freedom from the punishments accrued to such negligence or ignorance!

Widowhood Opportunity
One of the opportunities given to widows (by God) to fulfill dreams & God’s Call is the second chance to do what God wants to use their lives for in the kingdom ( & in humanity)!
Scenarios
1-Widow Naomi
When Naomi lost her husband & 2 grown up men(sons), such situations were enough to get confused in life and frustrated because it was seemingly that she already all she had labored for over 4decades!
But, she encouraged herself in the God of widows who told her not to worry because all she had lost was going to be restored – if she could only accept to take up the
Young Widows’ Training & Counseling?
Testimony
Few years later Naomi became fulfilled in life because God caused her to experience restoration by virtue of her submission to God’s wisdom to embark on A missionary assignment!
Even the widows of her age mates began to envy her to the point they said jokingly ( but prophetically) that:
God has made your daughter in-law ( Ruth) to do what 7 great sons could not have achieved, by restoring your years of losses!
Ruth 4:14-15
2- Widow Anna
After the loss of her husband, after 7 years of marriage. Rather than being discouraged or confused; instead she figured it out that God’s Call was upon her destiny. So she moved into the ministry God prepared for her and that became her Missionary Widow’s Vision!
In Lk. 2:36-38
She was used of God to birth the coming of Jesus Christ (spiritually) into the world by her singular commission & commitment to
Daily Intercession Project!
Conclusion
These two widows in the above lessons could only have become great in destiny because they discovered purpose in widowhood & decided to pursue such to the end!
Even though both of them had not biological children to succeed them, yet God made them to become great that today, thousands of years later – we are still talking about their exploits!
Challenge
I challenge every widow out there ( especially older widows); stop talking & waiting for death to come, when God is saying it’s not over with you in destiny & humanity!

It’s over with you yet!
God is waiting for your submission to His will!
